Story Related

Harpoon Hurler

Defeat Del Lago.

Story related. Can’t be missed. This will unlock after beating Del Lago.

Grilled Big Cheese

Defeat Bitores Méndez.

Story related. Can’t be missed. This will unlock after beating Mendez.

Wave Goodbye, Right Hand

Defeat the Verdugo.

Story related. Missable. This will unlock after beating the Verdugo – do not go on the elevator otherwise you will miss this one.

No Thanks Bro

Defeat Ramón Salazar.

Story related. Can’t be missed. This will unlock after beating Salazar.

You used to Be a Good Guy

Defeat Jack Krauser.

Story related. Can’t be missed. This will unlock after beating Jack Krauser.

You’re Small Time

Osmund Saddler.

Story related. Can’t be missed. This will unlock after beating Saddler.

Difficulty

Promising Agent

Complete the main story on Standard mode or higher.

This will stack with other difficulty related achievements.

Mission Accomplished S+

Complete the main story on Standard mode with an S+ rank.

Beat the game in 5 hours or less to unlock this. This will stack with other difficulty related achievements.

Proficient Agent

Complete the main story on Hardcore mode or higher.

This will stack with other difficulty related achievements.

S+ Rank Investigator

Complete the main story on Hardcore mode with an S+ rank.

Beat the game in 5 and a half hours or less to unlock this. This will stack with other difficulty related achievements.

Peerless Agent

Complete the main story on Professional mode with an S+ rank.

I believe professional mode unlocks after beating the game on Hardcore. Beat the game in 5 and a half hours or less to unlock this – you can only save 15 times.

Combat Related

Knife Basics

Parry an enemy with the knife.

Very easy, just wait for an enemy to attack you and the prompt to parry with knife will pop up.

Shield Your Eyes

Defeat 3 enemies at once with a flash grenade.

Shoot the heads off three enemies to expose the parasite then throw a flash and you will insta kill them. Alternatively, you can throw a flash at the crows before the El Gigante boss fight.

Overkill

Use a cannon to defeat a zealot.

When you first get into the castle, you will eventually come across a couple of cannons being fired at you. Go up the stairs to raise the canon and fire it at the enemies.

Never Heard It Coming

Defeat a Garrador using only knives.

When you are in the castle, you will encounter the Garrador which is blind. He has a weakspot on his back which can be stabbed with the knife. Trick the Garrador to charge into the wall so you can slash away or stab the weakspot.

Two Bugs, One Stone

Kill 3 parasites inside a Regenerator with a single bullet.

You’ll need the thermal attachment for the sniper rifle and eventually you should find a Regenerator with three parasites all lined up together. Shoot the parasites and the achievement should unlock.

You Talk Too Much!

Throw a grenade into Ramón Salazar’s mouth.

During the boss fight, simply throw a grenade into Salazar’s mouth.

Collectibles

My Preferred Place

Upgrade a weapon.

Purchase an upgrade from the Merchant.

A Masterpiece

Get the exclusive upgrade for a weapon.

Each time you fully upgrade a weapon, the merchant will offer an additional upgrade.

Gun Fanatic

Obtain all weapons.

There are 29 weapons which can be collected. Check video below

Nice One, Stranger!

Complete a request for the Merchant.

Jack of All Trades

Complete all requests from the Merchant.

Astute Appraiser

Sell a single treasure for at least 100000 ptas.

In chapter 11, you will need to find the Elegant Crown and combine five coloured gems to increase the value of it. Once you have combined all the gems, sell it to the merchant.

Bandit

Obtain all treasures indicated on the Village treasure map in a single playthrough.

Obtain all treasures indicated on the Island treasure map in a single playthrough.

Destroy a Clockwork Castellan.

Miscellaneous

Talk About Near-Death Experience!

Rescue Ashley as she’s being carried away by the enemy.

After saving Ashley from the Church, let an enemy grab Ashley and shoot them.

Hope You Like Thrill Rides!

Make it through both minecart sections in the underground tunnel without taking damage.

For the minecart sections, you will need to kill enemies as soon as they spawn in and avoid getting derailed. If the cart takes damage, reload the last autosave.

Capacity Compliance

Reach the top of the clock tower without the lift stopping once.

During the elevator segment on clock tower, enemies will drop down and cause the elevator to temporarily stop. You need to kill every enemy before they land on the elevator. If you mess up, reload the last autosave or try this on new game+.

Smooth Escape

Escape on the water scooter without taking any damage.

At the end of the game, you will get on a jetski. Avoid the debris and obstacles until this segment is over. If you take damage, reload last autosave and try again.

Amateur Shooter

Complete a game at the shooting range.

Refer to “Real Deadeye”

Real Deadeye

Earn an S-rank in all games at the shooting range

The shooting ranges can be located near the Merchant throughout the story. Each range will contain three rounds but these will stack if you have missed any. Keep playing each round until you get S-ranks.

Trick Shot

Shoot through and destroy 5 targets at the shooting range with a single shot.

In one of the shooting range rounds, you will need to use the sniper rifle to shoot a line of targets.

Other Runs

Sprinter

Complete the main story within 8 hours.

If you are going for S+ ranks, you should not have to worry about getting this.

Frugalist

Complete the main story without using a recovery item.

This is better of done on assisted mode.

Minimalist

Complete the main story using only knives and handguns [Including specific battles].

This is better of done on assisted mode.

Silent Stranger

Complete the main story without talking to the Merchant once.

Don’t talk to the Merchant during this run. You’ll have to rely on the resources you have. Leave this for a later run or combine it with “Minimalist and Frugalist”
